Riona has been a single Mom to two beautiful boys. She has made huge sacrifices to make sure both her sons received a good education to secure their independence and job security when they completed their schooling.

Her son, Cameron, expressed what a deserving winner she was:

“My Mother has never missed a day of being a mother. The sacrifices she made to bring myself and my brother up is something we will never understand nor comprehend. My Mom has the heart of an Angel, she is truly loving and always willing to help her family and any other person in need, no matter what it may be.”

Riona is clearly an incredible woman, who undoubtably deserved to win this fantastic prize.

Suzette went through a divorce 17 years ago and had to bring up her two boys on her own. Unfortunately, in 1991 Suzette was diagnosed with a heart problem and in 2014 she had to face and fight stage 3 breast cancer. The radiation and chemotherapy took a terrible toll on Suzette’s body, hair, teeth and skin and eventually Suzette was forced to take early retirement.

On top of the financial strain due to the cost of Suzette’s cancer treatments and the loss of her regular income, she moved to Bloemfontein to look after her 90 year old Mom for 9 months prior to her passing.

Suzette is undoubtably a caring person who has always put others before herself, but it was her time to shine and we excited to share this amazing makeover journey with you.
